MANTLE® Fire and Smoke Barrier
- Mantle® Fire and Smoke Barriers provide highly effective protection for your flight crew from fire and toxic smoke. FSBs are lightweight and flexible for quick aircraft reconfiguration without the need for significant and expensive aircraft modification.
Key Features & Benefits
- Provides a lightweight solution (combined with a Main Deck Barrier Net) when compared to rigid barriers.
- All features of our Fire Barrier meet FAR/JAR/CS 25.855(c), Appendix F, Part III flame penetration resistance test.
- FSBs forms part of the Cargo Compartment Classification B, C or E.
- Prevents the passage of smoke/toxic gases to crew area at differential pressures.
- Built-in venting for rapid decompression.
- Personnel access through the FSB is incorporated
- Cargo compartment viewing ports can be included.
- Can be quickly removed/installed for maintenance activities or configuration changes
