Nordisk Pallets
- The first Nordisk pallets left the factory in Holmestrand in 1972 and right from the start Nordisk used its innovative power to drive the market forward and increase value to customers. The fi rst Nordisk pallet had a sandwich construction and used the non-absorbent PVC honeycomb material Divinycelle. Another industry breakthrough was the new high strength 7021 alloy which was developed by Nordisk metallurgists in cooperation with Det Norske Veritas and Oslo Materialprøveanstalt. The hollow edge pallet introduced by Nordisk represented an industry breakthrough in weight reduction.

- Forged insert corners in high strength alloy AA7021-T6 are mad to withstand extreme impact
- 125 x 88/96 inch pallets (PAG, PMC and PAJ), sheets are clamped to edge rails with 45° chamfers and staggered rows of rivets, preventing early sheet dishing and ensuring extra-long service life
- Permanently bent rails can either be repaired by heat straightening or easily replaced by removing semi tubular stainless steel rivets
- All Nordisk pallets are manufactured in high strength 7000 series alloy

Nordisk PSA pallet for CRJ200 SF Freighter Conversion
- The PSA (61.5” x 88”) all-aluminium ETSO certified pallet weighs 46 kg and is based on our proven pallet concepts.
- Its functional design allows for easy build-up of pallet, and it is ideal for shipping general cargo on CRJ200SF Freighters.
- The CRJ200SF “Large Cargo Door” conversion can take 8 S-size pallets and carry up to 6.7 tons of cargo.
- It is also worth noting that, according to Boeing 2 PSA pallets can also safely be loaded on an A-size position in the lower deck on Boeing aircraft. Consult Boeing will have the S-size pallet listed in their W&B-manual.
